I am a student in MSU's class of 2024, pursuing a major in Computer Science and a minor in Business. I have been studying Computer Science since highschool and have acquired a vast skillset highlighted below.
Beyond the classroom, I have gained an impressive amount of professional experience. I started my professional career within the software development field as one of the instructors for one of Michigan State University's flagship C++ courses. Since then I have built upon my skillset through almost two years of industry experience as an Embedded Software Engineer Intern with Flex-N-Gate. My continued employment has allowed me to set myself apart from other computer science professionals with my advanced knowledge of development and development life cycles.
When not in the classroom or working with Flex-N-Gate, I also work as the Digital Media Director at Impact 89FM, MSU's student run college radio station. As a department head, I oversee our website, app, podcasts, graphics, social media, photography, and videography. This role has not only allowed me to improve upon my web and app development skills, but has taught me a wide range of invaluable leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
In addition to class, Flex-N-Gate, and Impact 89FM, I am also a Confernce Co-Chair with Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead). Within this role, I am a member of a team of four tasked with leading MYLead's Planning Team in the planning of two, weekend long leadership conferences. Through MYLead, I have gained unparalleled team leadership skills.
